Progress!!

Please pardon our progress as we install new carpet. For the next little while the library is having new carpet layed in all areas of the library. This means it's going to be just a bit more noisy as the old carpet is pulled and a bit more smelly as the glue is rolled but it's all worth it as the librarys look is updated!

If you need help finding books that are temporarily placed on carts, please ask a librarian for assistance. We are here to help and want you to find the information you need!

Our Special Collection Room

Not only is the special collection room home of many interesting books and figure heads, it is enclosed and contains tables and chairs that can be used on a first come first serve basis. If you know ahead of time when you might need a room that is quiet and away from everything you can go ahead and make reservations for your group or individual needs by calling or stopping by the reference desk. The reference desk can be reached @ 334-953-2888.

The locked cabinets around the circumference house the library's collection of rare books, autographed copies, and Air University school publications. These materials may be used only in the library. Ask a staff member for access.

Need a Quiet Place for Group Study?

A group study area is available in the AUL Special Collections Room on a first come, first served basis. Ask at the Information Desk for access to this room. 334-953-2888.

It is located on the first floor of the library to the right of the stacks. For group sessions, reservations are a nice gesture in order to make certain someone isn't in there when you need to get your work done.

If it is empty you can help yourself. Be sure to share if someone comes along wanting to use it too.

The room hold old books on many topics that can be looked through, but not checked out. We ask that you handle them with care as they are very old and some are brittle.
