LIBRARY HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

WE'RE WIRELESS

Air University Wireless Access called "Outreach" is now available in the library and outside in the "circle" perimeter. Students who bring their personal access devices (i.e. laptops, pda's, etc) will be able to use the public network (DREN). Ask at the reference desk for instructions and passwords.

Library Name Change On The Table

Air University Library official name is scheduled for change. Approval is moving rapidly through USAF channels. The new name will be "Muir S. Fairchild Research Information Center".

AU Library of the Future

The Library Leadership Council invited the AU Press Publications Review Board to a session to discuss how they envision the library of the future. The Board members provided critical input on library services, the schools, AU students and technology.

NEW LIBRARY WING

The 35% concept design submittal is under review for the Air University Library additions and alterations. The new wing will include much needed student and scholars workstations, a centralized computer laboratory, a special collections section and much more.
